PunkRockAlypse,New Blog,Attention Atlanta! John Stabb Benefit Show:
This week was Amy's 17th show of PUNKROCKALYPSE! You can check out the music list which was played this week on the show by clicking here!
Bad Luchagors!- No blog in forever! So... Lemme see.. Mexico- well, let's just say the vacation part of it was a blast. The guys had never been to Mexico City before and it's one of my all time favorite places, so it was cool to be able to show them around. The show.., well let's just say that Triple A was not ready to handle the production and equipment that is required for a band to play on their show, and unfortunately, we had to find out the hard way. I'm going to assume they're just going to stick to putting on a wrestling show. Our CD is officially in the duplication process. We will begin taking pre orders as soon as they give us a ship date. We are looking to start a street team to help us spread the word, so contact luchagors.com tell them you are interested and they will hook it up. We've got fun exclusives for street team members, so don't wait to sign up. Our drummer, Troy, decided he didn't have the desire or level of commitment needed to rock you "Luchawhores". Not to worry, as we have already had several inquiries and are excited about finding the final piece of the the group who wants to go out on the road and meet you guys. Anyone who can make it to DragonCon this year should not pass that up. We hope to have our CD's unofficially on sale that weekend, and we're playing Friday night. I'll let you know when you can pre- order CD's and post pictures as soon as we confirm our new 4th member. xxoo, amy
Amy has posted this note on the punkrockalypse myspace page:On Tuesday, 7/17/07, John Stabb of Government Issue was brutally attacked one block from his house by a group of five men.He has since undergone reconstructive surgery on his face. The surgery went well, and John is now the proud owner of:
-5 or 6 titanium metal plates shoring up his "zygomatic tripod" bones (around the eye orbit) and his upper jaw,
-A screw under his right eye,
-A leather splint over his nose, and
-Temporary braces readjusting his teeth.

To make matters worse, John's insurance is refusing to pay for a significant portion of the procedure. A number of avenues to provide financial assistance have been established, including a benefit show that will occur on September 1st here in Atlanta at Lenny's Bar.The lineup is as follows...to finish reading click

Punkrockalypse,Jim talks about Lita, New appearances,AP Contest,TNA signing Amy?
Hey xtremediva visitors, I'm finally back from my trip and I see that there's a lot of updates for Punkrockalypse and news on her band and her! So here it is:

I'll start with Punkrockalypse:
-Sunday July 29th was week 15. This week Amy ended up playing 20 songs sort of. What really happened was "Dead Kennedys- Life Sentence" was played 35 minutes bfore the show even started. But she counted it as song number one and two for that night.
-Sunday August 5th was week 16. This week Amy played 18 songs two less then last week but time always flies when you only have one hour.
You can check out both music lists which were played this week and last week on the show by clicking here!
Next I'll do the new Amy/Luchagors appearances: -The Luchagors are currently on the guest list to perform at the 2007 Dragon*Con event in Atlanta, Georgia. The event begins on August 31st and ends on September 3rd. I do not have any further information at this time. When I receive more, I will post it for you all to know. Until then, please visit
href="www.dragoncon.org"> www.dragoncon.org for more info.
-Amy Dumas and The Luchagors will be appearing at Turnbuckle Promotions, INC's Wrestling Megafest 2007 on Saturday, August 25th located in Lynbrook, New York at SportTime. Located at 175 Merrick Road. The event goes from 10AM-9PM. Tickets are currently on sale, you can call 561-707-8075 for more information on that. The Luchagors will be putting on a concert. You gain access to that with paid admission to the event. Exact times of her and the band appearing haven't been announced yet, I'll keep you updated on that. You can pre pay for autographs and pictures with Amy and the band on their website at
www.turnbucklepromotions.com! A general admission ticket is only $5. That will get you the Luchagors concert only and no access for the meet and greets. For more information on buying tickets CLICK HERE...

Third Jim Ross has mentioned not only Trish but Lita in his blog once again:
"Lita was hugely talented and should never ever be forgotten as she was one of the best performers ever in the WWE, male or female. As it relates to how Lita and Trish were utilized, Trish was rarely anyone’s “sidekick” for any long lengths of time, while Lita often times found herself aligned with other talents. To say who was better, Trish or Lita, would be tricky as I hired them both and am proud to have been a small part of each’s success. I miss them both a great deal, I can assure you of that, and I am sure many fans would concur." I don't know about everyone else but I definatly concur! Lita and Trish both were excellent and extreme to the highest level and for this they absolutly will not ever be forgotten by the fans of them both!
Forth, Do you remeber the AP Magazine cover contest? Well if you do I'm glad to say that The Luchagors won 2nd place in it!! The band who won first was called Sherwood. Congrats to The Luchagors and Sherwood!
Last but not least theres been a rumor that Amy is signing with TNA. This source is coming from 1Wrestling.com. They're saying that Amy Dumas has some sort of desl for the fall with TNA. Well do not believe a word of this because like all of the other ones like this it's false. So please don't get you're hopes up about any of these rumors. And if it were true I'm sure that Amy would have posted it on her myspace site or something to let her true fans know about it first.

Punkrockalypse:Technical Difficulties, Mass Hypnosis, and Oh Yeah, Punk
This week was Amy's 14th week of punkrockalypse! There was a song that I really enjoyed which was "I Wanna Get a Mowhawk (But Mom Won't Let Me)" by: AFI.Amy had a special guest on the show just briefly, he goes by the name... Professor Morte from the Silver Scream Spook Show! Amy was hoping that Professor Morte (Which really is Shane from the Luchagors!) could cast a spell on her so she wouldn't say the words "um" and "actually" anymore.Like always you can check out the music list which was played this week on the show by clicking here!

Punkrockalypse: Lucky number 13!
This was Amy's 13th week of PUNKROCKALYPSE! This week Amy didn't take calls because she's in Mexico with her band The Luchagors for a show at the Triple A (AAA) wrestling show! It is pretty obvious that the show was prerecorded. You can check out the music list which was played this week on the show by clicking here!
WWE.com is featuring videos of superstars who have had serious injuries that required surgery. Their latest video is about Lita's neck surgery back in 2002. A lot of the footage we've seen before but there is more details about her injury and surgery.

Future looks good for Dumas:
She's been a four-time world wrestling champion, written her own book, and has enjoyed success and popularity throughout the world.

But Amy Dumas feels her best days are in front of her.

The 32-year-old Dumas, better known to pro wrestling fans as Lita, is now juggling new careers, making rare independent wrestling appearances and serving as singer and songwriter for the Atlanta-based punk rock band The Luchagors.

Local fans will be able to see the red-headed beauty in both capacities when she opens a United Wrestling Federation show July 19 at Rick Hendrick Jeep Chrysler in North Charleston. She and her band will host an after-party later that evening at The Plex.

'It's cool that the fans will have a chance to come hang,' Dumas said in an interview with The Post and Courier on Thursday night. 'I'm really looking forward to it.'

Last November she left WWE, where she had been a star for the past seven years, to 'get out of the rat race' and put some normalcy back into her life.

'There's no off time. The show must always go on, and you get used to missing your friends' birthdays and not being able to spend holidays with your family. But then I realized that I was missing normal family stuff. I wanted a change.'To finish reading click here...

Punkrockalypse:18 Songs, and Some...Interesting Calls
This week Amy played a mixed group of songs to check the list out clickhere!

Also if you listened you heard Amy weigh in slightly on the Chris Benoit tragedy. Amy received tons of comments with people talking about it and wanting her thoughts. So listen up. She said this exactly: "I've gotten a lot of comments on myspace about the Benoit tragic situation that happened this past week and I wasn't going to say anything because honestly, this is how I feel about it. It's not my place to say anything. There's been a tragic situation and who am I to pass judgment or say anything about a private event that needs to be dealt with privately. Benoit was a friend of mine, Nancy was a friend of mine and it's for me to deal with, with my friends privately. TV's called me, radio and newspaper have all called me, trying to get me to make comments on it and my comment is that ya know, I'm going to be dealing with this privately in my own way and it's not my place or anybody else's place to be like passing judgment and glorifying this whole situation."
